The curriculum has been developed by NBA Basketball Operations and a team of experts in child development, physical literacy, and basketball fundamentals.
The program will include games that are modified to be age-appropriate and use age-appropriate equipment such as smaller basketballs and lowered hoops.

The 3v3 House league program is structured into 2 division based on skill and age level, with equal time devoted to skill development and 3on3 games.
Programming will feature basketball drills and modified games on a lowered rim that are age-appropriate, simple and fun. Each session runs for 45 minutes, one day per week.
Sessions involve 1-hour sessions for an 8 week in length. Classes focus on fundamentals and complete basketball competency.
The Jr. NBA curriculum takes children through a series of drills and activities that address basketball fundamentals.
As recommended by public health officials and infectious disease specialists, social distancing is a critical way to minimize the spread of coronavirus, however, we also recognize that staying home for an extended period can be difficult.
As part of NBA Together, we launched “Jr. NBA at Home,” an interactive content series providing basketball skills and drills featuring NBA and WNBA players that can be completed individually and in limited space to help young players around the world stay active and develop their game in a safe and healthy way.
